## Questions before publishing

- [ ] The opening explains what the product is and who it suits.
- [ ] Every number and factual claim has been checked against a current source.
- [ ] Variant-specific details match the selected variant.
- [ ] Relevant dimensions, materials or ingredients are easy to find.
- [ ] Limitations are clear; comparisons do not invent facts about alternatives.
- [ ] Product benefits are supported, rather than inferred from an ingredient alone.
- [ ] A buyer can find the most likely unanswered question: fit, compatibility, care or suitability.
- [ ] The copy is readable on the actual mobile product page.
- [ ] Links to size guides, care instructions and policies work.
- [ ] There are no invented reviews, certifications or results.

These are editorial prompts, not a legal checklist or a ranking formula. There
is no universal ideal word count. A short, complete description is better than
extra text added only to increase a tool score.

## Questions by category

| Category | Questions to answer using verified product facts |
| --- | --- |
| Apparel and accessories | What are the garment measurements, fabric composition, fit and care instructions? How should buyers compare sizes? |
| Home and kitchen | Will it fit the available space? What are its materials, compatibility limits, capacity and care instructions? |
| Beauty and personal care | What is in it, how is it used, and what warnings or limitations appear on the label? Do not infer an outcome from an ingredient name. |
| Supplements and wellness | What does the label say about servings, ingredients, warnings and testing? What exactly does a named certification cover? |
| Pet | What are the size and weight limits, materials, cleaning instructions and supervision guidance? |
| Food and beverage | What are the ingredients, declared allergens, pack quantity, preparation and storage instructions? |

## Worked example: apparel

This is a fictional product, not a customer result. Do not reuse its specifications
unless they are true of your own product.

**Draft:** The ultimate everyday overshirt. Exceptional quality and unparalleled
comfort for every occasion!

**Illustrative product facts:** 100% linen; 180 gsm; relaxed fit; intended for
layering over a T-shirt. The fabric creases. Garment measurements and washing
instructions are supplied separately.

**Edited copy:** Made from 100% linen at 180 gsm, this relaxed overshirt is
designed for layering over a T-shirt. Compare the garment measurements with a
shirt you already own. The fabric creases with wear; choose another material if
you prefer a crisp finish. Follow the care label when washing.

**What still needs checking:** The actual size-chart link, the care label, the
selected variant and all supplied specifications.

The edited copy is shorter than the checker's suggested range. That is fine.
The aim is to answer a buyer's question accurately, not achieve a perfect score.

## What the free checker does

It applies ten fixed editorial checks to pasted text and reports the share
passed. It does not call an AI model, verify facts, inspect your storefront,
or predict Google rankings or AI citations. Use relevant suggestions and
complete the source review above before publishing.
