Store AI-readiness scan
See what AI crawlers and answer engines can read on your store: robots.txt rules for seven AI agents, llms.txt, product structured data, titles and alt text, and your blog. Rules only, no AI calls, no sign-in.
The scan reads only public pages, over https, with a 10-second limit per file.
Questions about the scan
- Does the scan use AI?
- No. It fetches up to seven public files from your store and applies fixed rules to them. Nothing is sent to a model and no paid API is called.
- Why is there no overall AI score?
- Because no one knows the weights engines use, and a single number would pretend otherwise. Each section says what passed and what to fix, and a section the scan could not read says so instead of scoring zero.
- My store is on Shopify. Do I need my own llms.txt?
- Shopify now serves a generated agent file at /llms.txt and /agents.md on the stores we checked on 26 September 2026. The scan tells you whether yours is Shopify's file or one you wrote. Support for llms.txt among AI engines is uneven, so treat it as a small signal.
- Does passing every check mean ChatGPT will recommend my store?
- No. These are technical prerequisites: engines can only cite pages they can read. Whether you are named depends on what is written about your store across the web. The live AI visibility check shows whether you are named today.
